At present SME Bank is going under restructuring phase to strengthen its capacity & realign its focus towards providing innovative products and services and to create conducive environment with a clear focus on acting as a catalyst for identifying and providing financial services to the SME sector in a manner that helps in their development. 
 
It is envisaged that the SME Bank Restructuring supported by the Asian Development Bank will supplement other initiatives of the government and will go a long way to stimulate SME sector development in the country.
